Betty, I have been up all night doing some genealogy and I thought of you and all of our phone calls and you telling me about Penny. I was so happy for you when you were telling me about her. It does not seem as tho a year has passed. I think of you with fond memories, you were so excited to find out you could have a pet and your found Penny. You were so proud of her. You would talk of your family to me and how proud you were of them and how the nursing home has this special fund to help people out and how wonderful she felt that was because we know most elderly do not have enough money to live on. Your mother loved you all so dearly. She was such a wonderful loving, caring person and she would get around pretty well, it was a shock to me when she told me she fell and then she passed.
